Sports Initiative

SOUL Supports the Local Midwife

In May 2011 S.O.U.L. began working with the local midwife, who tirelessly serves the women of her community, helping deliver hundreds of babies every year. Her name is Calimantina, and she works in a humble shack guiding women through childbirth as they lay on rotting old mattresses inches above the red soil.
